Where is Spring?

Here are some pictures that I took today. No not in january of Febuary, but today the 28th of March. and it is snowing!!! So I ask where is Spring? Hopefully it will come soon and we can enjoy the outdoors and the sun.

Easter Day

Here are some picture s of us decorating eggs . We didn't get too crazy this year with the dying the eggs they were all one color, but we did have some stickers to decorate them with. The kids didn't mind and it was a much easier clean up for us. We did have one spill while dying the eggs. Amie got excited about the Pink color and knocked it over. But what is easter with out dye all over something.

And here is my beautiful kids!!! I loved their outfits (Compliments to Grandma). Amie loved her dress. She is turning into such a little girly girl. and is very opinionated about clothes and especially shoes.

Happy Hunting

The kids had so much fun searching for Easter eggs. We went to two different egg hunts. The first one was a flashlight egg hunt. It is really cute they had it at 7:45 and the kids brought flashlights. it was at the Kiwanis park and they had tons and tons of eggs just thrown out in the field there. The kids just ran around with thier lights searching for the eggs. It didn't take long for Amie to figure out that there was candy in the eggs then she got to buisness.

The next hunt was just a few families that met at the church. It was fun Amie was walking around calling "Egg, Egg" It was funny. She couldn't wait to get home and crack open those eggs. What was really funny was when we got home and I put the candy in my room so it would be behind a closed door. You know out of sight out of mind. Well Amie kept coming out of the back with candy so I'd yell at Nathan "You have to make sure you shut the bedroom door." Well he would swear that he did and I would nag him some more about making sure it latched. So this went on about another 20 min back and forth. Then finally I saw that Amie had figured out how to open the doors so I did apologize. And it did make us laugh.

Happy St Patty's Day!!!!!

So growing up St. Patrick's Day was a big thing. If you weren't wearing green you had better watch out because we would get you. And I am happy to say the tradition is not lost on this generation. Nathan came out and was all dressed and ready to go for the day. I called Ethan over and told him Daddy's not wearing green go get him. Of coarse Amie had to join in. Needles to say Nathan went back and changed his shirt. Here are some pictures of the kids in thier green out fits.



Amie has almost got the tricycle thing down but thanks to me her legs are too short to reach the petals. Oh, well I don't think I am ready to chase her on that quite yet.

Ok I had to put this one in. As most of you know Nathan has an obsession. I am sad to say it is no longer me. It is his new car his Monte Carlo special edition Intimadator. The Dale Earnhardt edition. So because it was a nice day he went out and detailed it. not that he did that the last nice day we had. I think I might just document each time so he can see for himself.

Ok, So My little brother who is on a Mission in Brazil, has his birthday on St. Patrick's day. So in honor of him, and because it gave me an excuse to make a cake, we had a little moment for him. I can't believe my little brother is 21. He comes home in July. (Oh if anyone wants I would be happy to make a cake for them for any occasion.) I was really pround of how this one turned out. It is a French Vanilla cake with fresh strawberries layered inside. It was really good!

We are still here!

I know It has been way too long since the last time I posted anything. So I promise I will do better. Nothing really exciting has been going on. Nathan is still going to school and after this next quarter will only have 8 credits left!!!! YEAH!!!! We are still waiting to hear from the Sheriff's Office about the job. But he is third on the list so that is promising. Ethan has been going to pre-school with Corgan, Emma, and Liem. He loves it and always tells me how fun it is to play transformers with Corgan and Liem or Superheros. Amie is growing up so fast. And is developing quite an attitude. She knows how to push Ethan's button and loves to see the reaction she gets from him. Today Ethan was watching his favorite TV show and Amie kept turning the power off and laughing as she ran away. The funny thing is I can totally remember doing that myself to my brothers. Well my parents did say I hope you have one just like you.!!

So Here are some pictures I thought were cute. The first two are of Ethan and Isaac. He is a neighbor of ours.



I know these next two are pretty old since it has been a while since we've had this much snow. But I thought they were cute and Ethan was so proud of his Snowman. (Thank goodness it is almost spring!!! I am ready to move forward!)





Here is Amie and Nora (she is Isacc's sister). They are so cute together. Amie loves to giver her hugs and kisses. Sometimes Nora is ok with it and other times she gets upset with all the attention. Amie will go to the back door where she can see Nora's apartment and ask to see here. She is such a social butterfly!
