Yes that is correct, I got an early Christmas present from Santa. Maybe Nathan just got sick of me asking to borrow his to play games on? Oh, well it is GREAT!!

We are still here

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We have been super busy. We moved out of our apartment over Halloween weekend! YEAH!!! Therefore we have been without our computer since then. I have soo many pictures that I want to post but an unable to since the cord to my camera is somewhere in a box in our storage unit.

But alas there is good news! Nathan got a job working in the same building at the WA Army National Guard. He is a rear detachment SGT for a company that is Deploying to Afganistan. So that means he will be the guy who sits in an office in Union Gap taking care of all the things that the unit will not be able to do while they are out of country. This is such a blessing to us. It is ful time job with benifits and a much better salary.

We hope to be in a house soon and be able to access our stuff (such as a camera cord) so we can show you what we have been up to. (ex: Halloween, Veteran's Parade, and Ethan's Lost tooth!!!) I can't believe how fast the time is flying with our wonderfully amazing kids.

Hey mom, look what I can do!

First day of preschool and soccer!

Amie started pre school last week. She loved it! She was so excited to go. Then when we got there she got camera shy! Sometime I have no idea what goes through her little head. She is so cute and loves to go! Her first day outfit was picked out with grandpa's help. She looked so adorable!


Ethan has started soccer. He LOVES it. Right now it is soccer this and soccer that. He has so much fun playing and is pretty good. He scored 2 goals his first game and then the second game he scored three!

First day of Kindergarten!

Ethan had his first day of kindergarten today! He is getting to be such a big boy!

Tyler and Brittany's Wedding

My Little Brother got married in August. Brittany is a wonderful addition to our family. We had a fun time at thier wedding.

Our Summer Trip Part 2

We were driving back up to Salt lake and we were going through a little town and the kids saw this car so of coarse we had to stop and take a picture in the Flintstones car.

We also went to the Hogle Zoo there was a baby Giraffe and three baby Tigers we saw one of them. Ethan's favorite animal right now is a tiger so he was so excited about that. Amie of coarse loved the monkeys.


We went through Zion's National Park and camped there for the night. It was so much fun and absolutely beautiful! We had fun roasting hot dogs and making smore's.


This was taken as we were entering the Park it was so pretty! There was a tunnel that was over a mile long. The kids thought that was fun to go through. We told them they had to hold their breath the whole time and Ethan would tell us, "I am still holding my breath!"

Our Summer Vacation Part 1

We had a very fun and very full summer trip this year. We were gone 10 days and traveled through 7 different states. It was crazy and we had lots of fun! Here are some pictures which aren't in order of when we visited.

This was at the dinosaur museum we went to outside of Lehi, Ut. Ethan was so excited to go to it. He loved all the dinosaur bones we had to take pictures next to all of them. He now has decided that he will be a paleontologist when he grows up.

This was when we were in Nevada visiting Nathan's sister.

We also went to Lagoon with most of my family. It was so much fun and Amie was a little daredevil! She wasn't afraid to go on anything! Ethan on the other hand would only go on the rides that went a round in a circle. Nothing to thrilling.

This was taken in Rexburg, ID. The red slide in this picture was the very same red slide that Nathan and I had out first kiss and then asked me to marry him. The kids thought it was much more fun to play then to listen to mom and dad's stories.

This was taken at the Wild Rose Resort on Henrey's Lake in Island Park, Id. It is a few miles from West Yellowstone Mt. The kids loved running around the lake.

Sleeping in the closet

I went to check on the Ethan and Amie before I went to bed and this is where I found my crazy little boy. He was fast asleep in the closet.

The Princess turns 3

Amie turned three this last Tuesday! I can't believe she is getting so big. We also reached a huge milestone. She is in big girl panties! YEAH! She loves the color pink so we got her a pink scooter. She is so cute on it.

She wanted a pink princess castle cake. So here is my attempt at that. It was fun to make.

On the day before her birthday we got together with some friends at a waterpark and had a party. She has a friend who's Birthday is the day before her so we had a combined party. Here is a picture of the two birthday kids.

She loves the camera! I am so glad to have her in our family, she is such a joy. There is never a dull moment when she is around that is for sure!

4th of July fun

We had a nice quiet 4th of July this year. Nothing too eventful. We hung out at my parents and the kids played enjoying the nice warm weather. Then we went and watched the Fireworks that the city put on. I do love the 4th of July and am very proud to be an American!

Family Activity

Nathan got a pink 22 for the girls when they get bigger, much bigger. I still don't quite understand why he thought he needed to get it now. Anyway, he wanted to take it out shooting the other day so of coarse Amie needed to be in on the action. She can never be left out, especially when the color pink is involved. Here are some pictures of the event.


Ethan was a little reluctance to touch something pink. Right now his favorite colors are all the colors except pink.
Amie is such a daddy's girl! If either her daddy, her grandpa, or her uncle Ty Ty are around I pretty much don't exist.

Our Rock Crawlers

Nathan got home from AT this last weekend and we were able to spend Father's day with him. The kids are so happy to have him home. The day he was released we actually went back up the the place he had been working. It is up past Naches on a lake up there. His unit was repaving a road and putting in a rock crawl coarse. We wanted to go and check it out. The road they put in was really nice. They did an awesome job. We took a lunch up there and had a picnic and then the kids went and played on the rocks. They had a blast.






And look who is working on sitting up. She is growing up way too fast!

Graduation

Ethan graduated preschool! Wow I can't believe he is getting so big and will be in Kindergarten this fall! He is so excited but is sad to be all done with his preschool. He has really enjoyed going to this school. Nathan was able to get leave for the night to come and attend the graduation. Amie was all over him and didn't want him to leave and go back. She is such a daddy's girl!





What a BIG BOY! He is so handsome, Love you Ethan and I am so proud of you!

Our Trip

Nathan has been gone for his Annual Training, so I decided to take the kids on a little road trip. We went to Utah to visit my sister and brother. It was a long trip. On the way there my soon to be sister-in-law road with us. It was nice to have her ride a long. She is so sweet and helped out a ton! I really missed having her on the way home. I was either brave or just plain dumb, haven't decided yet. I went home by myself with Ethan and Aubree, Luckily my mom and dad took Amie with them on the plane home. We left Utah at 8:30 and didn't make it back till 11:30 that night. It was a long trip! But Ethan was such a trooper and did help a lot.

Here is Ethan and Amie at the pool. We went swimming with my sister and her girls and Tyler and Brittany. The water in the pool was a bit chilly so we hung out in the hot tub.

My Grandparents on my Mom's side both turned 80 this year so we got together as a family and Celebrated this milestone. It was fun to see that part of the family again. They had fun glasses and even a drawing for some stuffed animals. Ethan won this Army bear, I think it was fixed a little so he would. (But I wont tell.)
Here is my dad holding Aubree. She was so good through our whole trip. She is such a wonderful blessing in our family. She brings so much joy.

Here is Amie in the car, she is such a crack up. Anytime she saw the camera aiming towards her she would tilt her head and say "cheese".

We had such a fun trip hopefully this next week will go by quickly and we can have our man back home. It is never fun when he has to be away.

We started feeding Aubree solid food this past week. She loves it! We have only given her rice cereal but she thinks it is so cool!


Here is a picture of her trying to sit up. She loves to play with her toes right now it is so cute. It is so sad how fast she is growing up. She started rolling over and now every time you put her one her back she flips over and is so proud of herself.


Ethan is boxing in this picture. Amie was "playing" too. She has one of the extra controllers that goes with one game. She says that is her controller so she can play along. She will not let herself be left out of anything!
